And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Krueger!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krueger moves to clinch but Gamboa breaks away
and Gamboa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krueger's guard.

Gamboa is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Krueger is looking to stand up but Gamboa isn't so interested in that idea.
Gamboa tries to free his leg and advance position but Krueger is retaining full guard.

We've been hearing that Gamboa has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Gamboa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gamboa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krueger's guard.

Krueger is trying to get back to full guard.
Krueger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gamboa scores with a couple of nice shots.

Gamboa thows a huge punch but Krueger dodges it nicely.
Gamboa is nestled in close to Krueger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Gamboa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gamboa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like Drew Krueger has been cut.
Gamboa is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Krueger is hurt! He's hurt bad - Gamboa fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Krueger from any more punishment! Congratulations to Gamboa! Great finish!
