Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allen Douglas (ranked 25229 p4p, 3364 weight class) and Abdul King (ranked 543 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas comes to the cage accompanied by Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says. Douglas has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Abdul King was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abdul King!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
Douglas is looking to stand back up but King counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Douglas.
Douglas is breathing heavily.
Douglas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

Douglas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Douglas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
It looks like King might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

King is continuing to stall.
King with shots to the head and body - Douglas looks very uncomfortable down there.
King lands a couple of good shots and Douglas has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
King really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Douglas.
King scores with strikes from the back.
King lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
King is riding his opponent, not letting Douglas buck him off.
