Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dustin Giles!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Giles tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Giles looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Giles throws a series of punches but Brown avoids them all with ease.
Giles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Brown was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Giles.
Giles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown throws a quick counter head kick but Giles was just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Brown rattles Giles with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Giles tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Brown dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Giles stiff and motionless on the mat!
