Kersikov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quark is fending him off so far but Kersikov persists. Nope, Quark circles away and we're back to standing.

We've been hearing good reports from Quark's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Quark seems a little lost for a moment, as Kersikov dominates the positioning.
Kersikov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quark keeps working.

Kersikov just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

You can see the frustration on Quark's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
I would not like to be Quark right now.
It looks like Kersikov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Kersikov has the hooks in. Quark is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kersikov has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Quark's body.
Will Kersikov go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Quark wants to control his opponent's hands but Kersikov gets his hands free.
I really don't envy Quark right now.
