The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Steel tries for a takedown but Marshall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Marshall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

I was talking to Steel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Steel or perhaps it was just good defense by Marshall, which made it look bad.

Marshall turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marshall manages to end up in side control.

Marshall is rotating here... this could be the end... Steel is out! Marshall has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

Braylen Marshall bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
