And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 56 wins and 34 losses; Jisoo Oh! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Borgia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oh as he avoids it easily.
Oh dives in and scores a takedown into Borgia's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Borgia (0) vs (2) Oh Borgia is trying to control the position but Oh postures up. Oh tries to free his leg and advance position but Borgia is retaining full guard. Borgia seems keen to control Oh's posture. Borgia is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at HELLCADEMY that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Borgia is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Oh is aware though and is defending well. Borgia can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Oh controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. You can see the frustration on Borgia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Oh politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Oh prefers to stall for the moment though. Borgia is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Borgia manages to work his way to half guard, despite Oh's best efforts. Oh content to control rather than advance.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Borgia moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Borgia controls Oh momentarily but Oh frees himself.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Borgia being controlled here, momentarily. Oh trying to control the position from guard on top but Borgia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Borgia is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Oh controlling the pace for now. Oh fails to advance to Borgia's back. Borgia is looking to get to half guard. Borgia is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Oh controlling the position easily from mount. Borgia is desperately trying to improve his position but Oh has a good base and remains in mount. Borgia has given up his back - I don�t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Oh really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Borgia. Oh is hanging on to Borgia's back as he tries to escape.

Oh is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Oh has the hooks in. Borgia is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
 That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Oh biding his time, controlling Borgia. Borgia trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Borgia is trying to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Oh has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Borgia's body.
Oh is trying to stick to Borgia's back but Borgia is turning into Oh. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Oh's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Borgia.  That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Oh seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Oh looking for a sweep. Not yet Oh, not yet. Borgia controls from within his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oh pulls Borgia in close to prevent any damage.
