Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mino Masa (ranked 3918 p4p, 2505 weight class) and Sota Endo (ranked 407 p4p, 0 weight class). Sota Endo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mino Masa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sota Endo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Endo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Masa scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Endo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Endo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Masa lands with a nice combination. Endo backs away looking to recover.
Donk. Masa catches Endo right on the button with a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Endo has a takedown stuffed.
Horrible takedown attempt by Endo or perhaps it was just good defense by Masa, which made it look bad.
Endo shoots in but Masa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mino Masa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sota Endo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Endo.
Masa tries to bum rush Endo with a series of wild strikes but Endo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Endo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Donk. Masa catches Endo right on the button with a cross.
Masa scores with a sloppy right hand. Endo should have avoided that one.
Masa misses with a wild combination.
Endo feints the counter takedown.
Endo fails with the takedown.
Masa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Masa stuffs the takedown attempt from Endo. Endo gets slowly back to his feet.
Endo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Masa defends well and Endo ends up having to push Masa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Masa lands a left and a right that send Endo crashing to the mat, dazed. Masa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Endo is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Endo gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Masa points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Endo wakes up just in time to hear Masa thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mino Masa!
