The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Blocks.
Marroquin tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Blocks wants to control the pace but Marroquin is squirming around nicely.
Blocks looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
BOOM! Blocks connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Blocks with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee warns Marroquin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
