And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devon Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson tries for a takedown but Forbes circles away easily
and Forbes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hudson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Forbes lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Devon Hudson has been cut.
Forbes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hudson.
Forbes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Forbes wants it to stay on the feet.
Forbes misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hudson is defended easily by Forbes.
It looked like Forbes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mathias Forbes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Hudson.

Hudson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Forbes gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
