Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Pereira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Allard!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pereira is fending him off so far but Allard persists. Nope, Pereira circles away and we're back to standing.
Pereira drops down looking for a counter takedown but Allard sprawls and moves away.
Allard slaps away a takedown attempt from Pereira, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Allard fails to land the takedown.
Allard feints and as Pereira raises his hands in defense, Allard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pereira is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Allard regains full guard. Nicely done.
Pereira won't allow Allard to sweep him here.
Allard throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pereira escapes and throws Allard's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Allard is trying to improve his position.
Allard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pereira off and has taken his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allard working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Pereira is trying to break free.
Allard looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Pereira is controlling Allard 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Pereira tries to free his leg and advance position but Allard is retaining full guard.
Allard looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pereira is defending well. Allard quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pereira has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Allard celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Martin Allard!
A relieved looking Martin Allard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
