Plumson has had enough of the clinch but Spagnolo keeps him there for the moment.

Plumson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Spagnolo sprawls well. Spagnolo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Plumson gets slowly back to his feet.

Spagnolo stalks Plumson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Plumson's face. Plumson staggers backwards, shaken.

Plumson throws a wild hook but Spagnolo just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Plumson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Spagnolo raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Spagnolo!
