Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Jefferson (ranked 3924 p4p, 2108 weight class) and Rough Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeffrey Jefferson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rough Bear! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear misses with a lunging right hand
so Jefferson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bear working for a triangle but Jefferson defends it easily.
Jefferson is stalling in the full guard. Jefferson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bear on the ground. Bear working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jefferson.
Bear has his foot on Jefferson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jefferson works his way back into a safe position though.
Jefferson gets to his feet. Bear looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bear misses with a looping right. Jefferson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bear tries to keep at a distance but Jefferson has taken the fight into the clinch. Bear throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Jefferson jumps guard.
Jefferson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bear's guard.
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jefferson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bear working for a triangle but Jefferson defends it easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jefferson wants to stand but Bear is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bear is working an open guard so Jefferson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jefferson clinches up with Bear and pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Jefferson. Bear throws a punch but it's blocked by Jefferson. Jefferson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jefferson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jefferson dodges an elbow strike from Bear.
Jefferson manages to pull guard.
Bear sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jefferson's guard. Jefferson wants to control but Bear is keeping busy and won't allow it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bear looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bear has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jefferson defend it? Bear steps over the head and cranks it - Jefferson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bear!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rough Bear! Rough Bear seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
