Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mferi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Lovanov moves forwards but Mferi connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mferi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mferi throws a jab but it's blocked by Lovanov.

As Lovanov backs off Mferi throws a huge counter combo but Lovanov manages to avoid it all.
Lovanov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mferi in his tracks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Malig Mferi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lovanov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mferi is still in real trouble! Can Lovanov finish him?
Mferi is looking to stand up but Lovanov isn't so interested in that idea.
Lovanov gets to his feet and stands over Mferi, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mferi felt that one! Lovanov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mferi from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zahbit Lovanov!
Zahbit Lovanov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
