Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Redcola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Schoonie Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a shot to the body.
Barry Redcola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Redcola misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jenkins.
Redcola misses with a hook.
Jenkins is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Redcola with a body shot.
Jenkins takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Redcola looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jenkins cracks a nice hook into Redcola's ribs.
Redcola's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Redcola duly obliges.
Jenkins fakes the leg kick and cracks Redcola in the body.
Redcola is breathing heavily.
Redcola takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jenkins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jenkins ducks under a wild hook from Redcola.
Redcola pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jenkins scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jenkins lands a left and a right that send Redcola crashing to the mat, dazed. Jenkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Barry Redcola has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Redcola drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jenkins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Redcola's head backwards.
Redcola is rocked!
Redcola get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Redcola stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Jenkins runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Schoonie Jenkins!
Our winner, Schoonie Jenkins, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
