Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Boy Walton!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Walton doesn't seem bothered though.
Walton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Owen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walton moves away.
Walton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Owen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Sam Owen has been cut.
Owen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Walton.

Owen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Owen is working for takedown but Walton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Walton misses with a punch to the body.

Walton will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Owen up against the cage.

Owen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Owen wants to pass the guard but Walton is defending well.

Owen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Walton is just riding it out for now. Owen eventually gives up the hold.

Owen is trying to work for a kimura but Walton is defending well.

Owen wants to advance to full mount but Walton doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Walton is trying to control the position but Owen postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Walton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Owen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Walton throws a hook but Owen blocks it.

Owen shoots in for a takedown but Walton shows good takedown defense.
A looping hook to the body misses from Owen. Walton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Walton moves in looking to clinch but Owen pushes him off.
Owen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Walton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Owen at a distance.
Owen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walton.
Owen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Walton lands a big uppercut and Owen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Owen looks OK. Walton waves Owen back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Owen lands a head kick!
A big left from Walton misses.
Owen switches off momentarily and Walton cracks him with a monster right hand! Owen topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Walton dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Walton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Boy Walton!
Post fight, an emotional John Boy Walton said 'This win was for my best good friend. Mr. Pickles!!!!!!!!!!'.
