Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominik Dillinger (ranked 3998 p4p, 3244 weight class) and Weichung Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominik Dillinger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominik Dillinger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weichung Li! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li drives through with a takedown into Dillinger's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Li trying to control but Dillinger is working from the bottom. Li is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dillinger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Li is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Li's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dillinger manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Li throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dillinger was covering up waiting for the punch and Li finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dillinger wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Li manages to pass to side control. Li prevents Dillinger from standing back up.
Dillinger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dillinger tries to get out of the position. Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dillinger is trying to stand.
Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Li is nestled in close to Dillinger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dillinger tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Li manages to move to mount!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dillinger is bucking up trying to escape but Li cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Li won't let Dillinger get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Li trying to control but Dillinger is having none of it. Li lands a nice shot to the head. Li fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Li working away from the top, dropping strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillinger is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Li is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dillinger can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dillinger squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Li cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Li lands a big shot there that rocks Dillinger but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Li pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
 Dillinger is rocked!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Li lands a big shot to the head and Dillinger winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Weichung Li! A very excited looking Weichung Li made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
