The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bengtsson jabs at Hooez's body.
Bengtsson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hooez circles away quickly and effectively.
Bengtsson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bengan Bengtsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hooez throws a hook but Bengtsson blocks it.
Bengtsson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hooez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hooez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bengtsson circles away.

and Hooez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've been hearing reports that Hooez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bengtsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hooez.
The crowd cheers as Hooez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bengtsson doesn't seem phased though.

Bengtsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hooez sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bengtsson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bengtsson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
