Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mackin Hooez (ranked 1794 p4p, 5384 weight class) and Bengan Bengtsson (ranked 150 p4p, 355 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mackin Hooez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Bengan Bengtsson! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bengtsson jabs at Hooez's body. Bengtsson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hooez circles away quickly and effectively. Bengtsson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bengan Bengtsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hooez throws a hook but Bengtsson blocks it. Bengtsson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bengtsson misses with a head kick.
Hooez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hooez scores with a jab. Bengtsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hooez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hooez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bengtsson circles away. Bengtsson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hooez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've been hearing reports that Hooez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bengtsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hooez. The crowd cheers as Hooez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bengtsson doesn't seem phased though. This has been an exciting period of action! Hooez jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hooez needs to keep his hands up - Bengtsson had a free shot at his head there. Bengtsson misses with a few strikes there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bengtsson scores with a head kick. Hooez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Bengtsson throws a jab when Hooez was well out of range. It looked like Hooez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bengtsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hooez throws out the jab. Hooez tries to move into range but Bengtsson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hooez scores with a jab. Bengtsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bengtsson misses with a body shot.
Bengtsson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Both fighters circling a little - Bengtsson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Bengtsson throws a hook but Hooez blocks it.
Hooez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bengtsson quickly recovers to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Hooez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bengtsson won't allow Hooez to pass to mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bengtsson regains full guard. Nicely done. Hooez showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bengtsson wants to sweep but no luck. Hooez controlling from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hooez trying to control the position from guard on top but Bengtsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hooez misses the body punch and Bengtsson counters with a nice body shot. Hooez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bengtsson ducks under a wild hook from Hooez. Bengtsson tries to work over Hooez's front leg with a kick but Hooez checks it. Hooez tries to counter with a takedown but Bengtsson is quick to defend against it. Hooez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hooez misses with an uppercut. Bengtsson saw that one coming. Bengan Bengtsson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bengtsson misses with a wild combination.
A slow jab from Hooez misses its intended target. The fighters circling - Hooez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bengtsson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hooez rather than just go for the knockout. Hooez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Bengtsson. That snapped Hooez's head back.
A big left from Bengtsson misses. Bengtsson throws a lazy uppercut
and Hooez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hooez is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bengtsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hooez jabs Bengtsson right on the nose. Bengtsson blinks but takes it well.
 Bengtsson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hooez sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bengtsson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bengtsson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mackin Hooez! Our winner, Mackin Hooez, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
