Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luther Socippo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abel Drugger!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socippo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Drugger to score with a decent uppercut.
Socippo clobbers Drugger with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Socippo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Drugger throws an off balance right hand
and Socippo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A big left from Drugger misses.
BOOM! Socippo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Drugger. Drugger tries to recover but Socippo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Drugger lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luther Socippo!
During a confident post fight interview, Luther Socippo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
