Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tray Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emmet Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Roberts might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bonkers By Dizee Rascal. Brown has chosen Back to the Future as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tray Roberts had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tray Roberts! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Emmet Brown! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown throws a right and a left that Roberts avoids nicely. Roberts goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Emmet Brown has been cut. Roberts lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Roberts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Brown works his way to full guard. Good work. Roberts tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard. Brown is pulling down on Roberts's head to control his posture. Roberts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Roberts won't allow Brown to sweep him here. Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roberts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown is trying to keep Roberts in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown wants to stand up but Roberts is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A nice leg kick lands there from Roberts. Brown looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roberts scores with a one two! Brown had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Roberts is looking to slow Brown down with leg kicks. Brown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That has opened up Emmet Brown's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts with a nice cross. Brown ducks straight into an uppercut from Roberts and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Brown maanges to regain guard straight away.
The cut above Emmet Brown's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Roberts drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Roberts off! Roberts jumps back into Brown's guard. Roberts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Roberts drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Roberts off! Roberts jumps back into Brown's guard. Roberts trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts throws a big right hand that misses. Brown wants to stand but Roberts is controlling the position. Roberts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Emmet Brown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roberts checks a leg kick nicely. Brown slaps away a takedown attempt from Roberts, before circling back to the center of the mat. Roberts shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one. Roberts scores with a punch to the head. Brown falls off balance throwing a combination
and Roberts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brown throws a combination that misses and Roberts counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brown's head. Roberts works over Brown with some ground and pound from guard. Roberts lands a couple of decent looking shots. Roberts working some strikes from top position. Roberts wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Roberts with a flurry of punches that miss. Brown wants to get back to his feet but Roberts is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brown takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Roberts fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tray Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roberts slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Roberts avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roberts moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brown takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Roberts fails with the takedown. Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roberts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Roberts lands a decent elbow from side control. Brown tries to buck Roberts off but Roberts is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tray Roberts dominated that round. The cut man is working on Emmet Brown's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Roberts is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tray Roberts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brown throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roberts keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brown cracks Roberts with a good jab. Roberts blocks a head kick by Brown.
Emmet Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Roberts.
Brown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Roberts counters with a left and a right that stings Brown.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Emmet Brown's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tray Roberts! Tray Roberts retains his heavyweight title!
