Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koen Bauweraerts (ranked 489 p4p, 787 weight class) and Barry Parrish (ranked 54 p4p, 78 weight class). Bauweraerts comes to the cage accompanied by Dj Coone - Eating Donuts. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Parrish. Bauweraerts does a little dance to reset his feet.
Parrish misses with a body shot.
Bauweraerts lands with a nice body punch.
Parrish takes a swing at Bauweraerts's ribcage but misses.
Bauweraerts was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bauweraerts moves out of range of the strikes.
Bauweraerts throwing a counter right hand but Parrish manages to avoid it.
Barry Parrish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parrish scores with a sloppy right hand. Bauweraerts should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A shot to the liver by Parrish. Beautiful body shot.
Parrish looks to land a combination but Bauweraerts avoids it well.
A quick step to the side and Bauweraerts tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

enabling Bauweraerts to counter with a crisp jab.
Bauweraerts takes one to the side of the head.
Bauweraerts is rocked!
Parrish closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Bauweraerts! Parrish dives in looking to finish! Bauweraerts is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A less than humble Barry Parrish misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
