Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wally Blocks (ranked 3359 p4p, 3160 weight class) and Luka Radovan (ranked 217 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wally Blocks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luka Radovan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radovan slips a jab from Blocks. Blocks's corner calls for a 1-2. Blocks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Radovan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Blocks. Blocks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Radovan avoids it really well and circles away. Radovan misses with a takedown attempt - Blocks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Radovan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blocks but Blocks pushes him off and we're back to square one. Blocks was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Radovan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Blocks is trying to control Radovan's posture but Radovan avoids it. Blocks is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Radovan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blocks keeps working.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Radovan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Blocks is working to avoid the ground and pound but Radovan connects with a decent elbow. Blocks sneaks back into half guard. Radovan passes the guard and advances to mount! Radovan punishing his opponent with strikes. Blocks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Radovan controlling from the full mount. Radovan unloading with bombs!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Blocks wants to control but Radovan is having none of it. Radovan prevents Blocks from getting the reversal.
Radovan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Radovan with good strikes from the mount here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Radovan wants to control the pace but Blocks is squirming around nicely. Blocks is desperately trying to improve his position but Radovan has a good base and remains in mount. Blocks regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Radovan working Blocks over with strikes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blocks is trying to get back to full guard. Radovan sitting and controlling from the half guard. Blocks is refusing to be controlled, as Radovan sits in half guard. Blocks tries to roll over but Radovan keeps him under control. Blocks on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Radovan passes to full mount!
Radovan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Blocks has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Blocks! Radovan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Blocks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Radovan keeping moving, preventing Blocks from controlling successfully. Radovan wants to sweep but no luck. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Luka Radovan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Radovan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blocks on his heels. He'll look to pass Blocks's guard now, I'm sure. Radovan connects with a couple of short punches. Blocks wants to improve his position but instead Radovan has moved into half guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Radovan landing with the ground and pound. Blocks trying to control the position.

Blocks slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Radovan wants to control from the top but Blocks keeps moving.

Blocks has hold of Radovan's hands but Radovan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Still in half guard, Radovan seems content to control. Blocks tries to roll over but Radovan keeps him under control. Blocks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blocks. Radovan wants to control from the top but Blocks keeps moving.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Blocks is trying to maintain the position but Radovan is very close to passing his half guard.
Blocks looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blocks is staying active underneath Radovan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Luka Radovan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
