Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Cordes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jorge Cordes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Rain!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cordes shoots in and bounces Rain off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rain lands a decent punch to the body there.
Rain throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Cordes drops back looking for a leg! Rain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rain manages to kick Cordes off! Cordes jumps back into Rain's guard.

Cordes throws a series of punches but Rain avoids them all with ease.

Rain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rain scores with a hook to the body. Cordes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Cordes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cordes tries to stand but Rain is controlling from the bottom.
Rain throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cordes postures up.
Cordes wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.

Cordes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rain striking off his back but it's not causing Cordes any problems.
Rain doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cordes shoots in for a takedown but Rain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
