Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Illir Cela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Nas!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cela circles away quickly and effectively.
Nas throws a looping overhand right but Cela ducks down to avoid it.
Cela attempts a counter takedown but Nas avoids it well and moves away.

and Nas counters with a nice body shot.
Cela darts in looking for a takedown but Nas gets double underhooks and turns Cela into the cage.
Nas breaks the clinch.
Illir Cela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cela walks into a jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Nas. That snapped Cela's head back.
Nas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Cela takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Illir Cela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cela shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Cela tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nas defends well and Cela ends up having to push Nas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nas has Cela pushed against the cage.
Nas lands a shoulder strike.

Cela has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nas avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cela drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A body shot lands from Nas.
Come on Nas - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Nas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nas is struggling to control the position.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Nas.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nas stuffs the takedown attempt from Cela. Cela gets slowly back to his feet.
Nas looks to score with a jab to the body but Cela is just out of range.
Nas lands a nice shot that snaps Cela's head back.
Nas lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cela looking to score a takedown here. Nas is defending well but Cela drives through and ends up in Nas's guard.
Cela postures up and lands a big shot to Nas's brow.
Cela connects with a couple of short punches.
Nas keeping moving, preventing Cela from controlling successfully.
Cela controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cela accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cela trying to control but Nas is working from the bottom.
Cela lands a couple of digs.
Cela trying to control the position from guard on top but Nas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cela might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nas has momentary wrist control but Cela slips an elbow through the middle.
Cela has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cela is pushing down on Nas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nas is fighting to maintain full guard but Cela has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cela looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nas looks winded!

Cela working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cela connects with a nice short shot to Nas's temple.
Cela looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Cela is keen to just control but Nas is a slippery customer.
Cela is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cela is nestled in close to Nas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nas on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cela winds up and cracks Nas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Joe Nas will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cela fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nas to the ground. Cela is now in Nas's guard.
Cela works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cela is nestled in close to Nas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cela landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Cela works his way into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cela has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nas's face.
Nas is in a horrible position here. Cela smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nas is rocked!
Nas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cela. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nas is still in real trouble! Can Cela finish him?
Cela landing punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cela drops a big elbow. That's hurt Nas! More shots from Cela and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Illir Cela!
