And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eli Vieira!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Volkov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vieira blocks a jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Vieira misses.
Volkov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Outlier Martial Arts New York in the buildup to the fight.
Vieira walks forward, straight into a front kick from Volkov.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Volkov, as that shot connected.
Volkov throws a good cross that connects.
A jab from Volkov misses.
Vieira tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkov with a nice calf kick.
Volkov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vieira counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Volkov thinking.
Vieira slips a straight right by Volkov.

Volkov misses with a hook
and Vieira counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Bogdan Volkov has been cut.
Vieira avoids a punch combination nicely.
Volkov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Vieira counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Volkov misses with an uppercut. Vieira saw that one coming.
Volkov misses with a lunging right hand
and Vieira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A clash of legs there as Vieira blocks the low kick.

Vieira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Volkov lands with a cross.

Volkov misses with a looping left.
Vieira is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Vieira moves forwards but Volkov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Volkov throws a right and a left that Vieira avoids nicely.
Volkov looks to land a body kick but Vieira moved away.
A nice side step and Vieira releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Volkov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vieira with the counter takedown but Volkov avoids it easily.
Volkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Vieira on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Vieira is rocked!

Volkov steps in with a hook that catches Vieira right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Volkov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Vieira looks absolutely devastated.
