Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim McKane (ranked 2702 p4p, 4470 weight class) and Dominic Toretto (ranked 299 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dominic Toretto enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim McKane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominic Toretto!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toretto swings for the body but McKane moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Toretto misses the target.
Dominic Toretto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toretto takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Toretto misses with a wild combination.
Toretto thows a left - swing and a miss!
McKane shoots for a double leg takedown but Toretto sprawls well. He's pushed McKane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McKane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Toretto is fending him off so far but McKane persists. Nope, Toretto circles away and we're back to standing.
Toretto tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Toretto counters with a straight right hand.
McKane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Toretto tries to avoid it but McKane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Toretto to the ground. Toretto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McKane ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McKane no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Toretto stands and steps away. McKane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

It appears McKane was looking to counter with a kick there.

enabling Toretto to counter with a crisp jab.
Toretto throws a series of punches but McKane avoids them all with ease.
McKane looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

McKane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toretto walks away with a smile on his face. McKane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Toretto! But no joy.

The crowd cheers as Toretto lands an impressive looking overhand right. McKane doesn't seem phased though.
McKane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toretto pinned against the cage. Toretto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Toretto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McKane closes the distance and clinches up with Toretto, looking for a takedown. McKane pushes Toretto against the cage but Toretto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Toretto is looking to pass into half guard but McKane pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now McKane is in guard.

Dominic Toretto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
McKane lands a couple of digs.
McKane chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toretto looking to control.
Toretto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McKane is controlling him.
McKane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McKane passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Toretto wants to get back to his feet but McKane drags him back down.
McKane controls the position from side control.
Toretto tries to escape but McKane is in control.
McKane advances to mount.
McKane tries to control but Toretto wriggling away.

McKane wants to finish this one by submission but Toretto is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from McKane.

McKane has control of Toretto's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Toretto regains control of the situation pretty easily.
McKane wants to control the pace but Toretto is squirming around nicely.

McKane jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Toretto manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Toretto bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tim McKane.
I think Toretto has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
