Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lawson Serrano!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Remington throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Remington throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Serrano tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Remington is in Serrano's guard.
Serrano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Remington manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Serrano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

After winning the bout, Reese Remington thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Lawson Serrano stepped up to the mic, saying 'Bullshit. let's run it again'.
