Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Block Obama (ranked 1385 p4p, 694 weight class) and Hrvoje Vinkovic (ranked 154 p4p, 73 weight class). Vinkovic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hrvatska Zastava. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinkovic wants to clinch but Obama slips to the side
and Obama counters with a right hand to the body.

Block Obama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vinkovic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vinkovic remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
