Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Morris (ranked 2714 p4p, 25660 weight class) and Juan Castro (ranked 295 p4p, 0 weight class). Juan Castro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hayden Morris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Castro! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Castro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Morris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Morris working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Castro's head. Morris wanted to stand there but Castro had control of the position. Castro wants to stand up but Morris is controlling him.
Castro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morris defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris stopping the sweep attempt from Castro. Morris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Morris throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Morris wants to stand but Castro has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Morris trying to control but Castro is working from the bottom.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Castro rushes Morris and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Castro successfully pulls guard.
Morris working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Castro wants to improve his position but instead Morris has moved into half guard.
Morris trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Morris is nestled in close to Castro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Castro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Castro tries to get to full guard but Morris has control of the leg. Morris trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom. Morris is thwarting Castro's attempts to control the position. Castro is refusing to be controlled, as Morris sits in half guard. Castro wants to control but Morris is keeping busy and won't allow it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro won't allow Morris to pass to mount. Morris lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Morris is keen to just control but Castro is a slippery customer. Castro wants to stand back up but Morris manages to pass into side control.
Morris has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Castro is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Morris yanks on the arm and Castro is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Morris.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hayden Morris!
