Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wally Blocks (ranked 3830 p4p, 3740 weight class) and Anton Arellano (ranked 234 p4p, 232 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wally Blocks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Arellano! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blocks slips under a jab from Arellano. Arellano fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blocks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Blocks throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It seemed like Arellano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Arellano closes the distance and clinches. Arellano lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Arellano tries a body shot but Blocks blocks it.
Blocks is trying to break free. Blocks is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Arellano tries to work over Blocks's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Arellano blocks an uppercut.
Arellano digs a right hand underneath Blocks's ribcage. Blocks let out a lung full of air as it connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blocks wants to take the fight to the mat but Arellano manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Arellano gets through Blocks's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Arellano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arellano keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Arellano flicks out a counter leg kick but Blocks steps away. Arellano jabs Blocks right on the nose. Blocks blinks but takes it well. Blocks works Arellano's body with a nice hook.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Blocks misses with a left hand and Arellano counters with a stiff right hand.
Arellano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Blocks wants to get back to striking at distance but Arellano won't allow it.
Blocks manages to break the clinch.
Blocks lands a head shot. Blocks lands with a nice body punch. Blocks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Blocks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arellano counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Wally Blocks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blocks throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Arellano on the side of the head. Nice jab there from Arellano. Anton Arellano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blocks tests Arellano's chin there with a solid looking shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Arellano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Arellano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blocks looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Blocks getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Arellano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Blocks drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Arellano needs to keep his hands up - Blocks had a free shot at his head there.
Blocks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blocks thows a huge punch but Arellano dodges it nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Arellano can do anything to dispel that myth. Arellano is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blocks scores with a couple of nice shots. Blocks is figuring out what he wants to do next. Blocks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Arellano defending well though. Blocks thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Blocks uses his free foot to push down on Arellano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Arellano.
Blocks working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blocks has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Arellano's face.
Blocks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Arellano is looking to escape. Blocks cracks Arellano with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blocks scoring with strikes but Arellano is staying in there. Blocks breaks from Arellano's wrist control and lands an elbow. Blocks landing strikes, looking to finish! Arellano is wriggling around trying to escape.
Arellano takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Blocks lands a couple of good shots and Arellano has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Arellano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blocks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blocks has got one arm under Arellano's chin. This could be trouble... Arellano trying to control the other hand but Blocks gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Arellano has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Wally Blocks! An out of breath Wally Blocks thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
