Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 23412 p4p, 23137 weight class) and Higanti Libat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higanti Libat has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 50 - 84 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 57 - 79 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bitok throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Libat scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Libat throwing strikes but Bitok manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Libat is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bitok is staying active.
Libat is not content to let Bitok control the position.

Libat tries to buck Bitok off but Bitok is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Both fighters take a look at the clock.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bitok looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Libat thinks about the counter body kick.
Bitok fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

And Libat responds with a good body kick, but Bitok manages to step out the way in time.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Libat dives in for a single leg takedown but Bitok sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bitok thinks about countering with a head kick.

Bitok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Kulata Bitok will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bitok's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bitok.

Libat feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Higanti Libat has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bitok can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Libat controls the pace.

Libat is fighting to break Bitok's control of his arms but Bitok is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bitok not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Bitok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Libat avoids it really well and circles away.
Libat is trying to counter with his kicks.
Libat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bitok is fending him off so far but Libat persists. Nope, Bitok circles away and we're back to standing.

Bitok shoots for a takedown but Libat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Libat thinks about the counter body kick.

Bitok shoots in for a double leg but Libat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Libat steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Bitok goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Libat unleashes a big counter combination but Bitok bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Libat is taking a breather. Bitok says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bitok is trying is best to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, if Libat is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

The referee asks Libat politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Libat prefers to stall for the moment though.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Libat dives in and grabs Bitok's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes down on Libat's head and hops out.
Bitok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Libat sprawls well. Libat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bitok gets slowly back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Libat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bitok is trying to defend but Libat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bitok tries to get to full guard but Libat has control of the leg.
Libat wants to take a breather but Bitok is having none of it.
Bitok is pressing down on Libat's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Libat is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bitok is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

And that's the end of the fight!
Higanti Libat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Libat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
