Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wala Sapi (ranked 23357 p4p, 23404 weight class) and Minatay Mibangon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 69 - 60 - 14, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 73 - 16, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sapi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mibangon counters with a good, hard body kick but Sapi shrugs it off.
Mibangon closes the distance and clinches up with Sapi, looking for a takedown. Mibangon pushes Sapi against the cage but Sapi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mibangon misses with a body kick.
Sapi quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sapi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sapi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Mibangon pulls Sapi in close to his closed guard and prevents Sapi from doing any damage or advancing position.
Sapi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mibangon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mibangon steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I would just about give that final round to Minatay Mibangon.
Well Mibangon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
