Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Butch Cassidy (ranked 2832 p4p, 3040 weight class) and Ovaltine Jenkins (ranked 298 p4p, 318 weight class). Butch Cassidy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Butch Cassidy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ovaltine Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cassidy. Jenkins finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cassidy throws out a leg kick but Jenkins moves out of range and Cassidy only half commits. Cassidy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A countering left hand to the body from Jenkins misses. Jenkins misses with a leg kick
and Cassidy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jenkins has his hands on Cassidy's head, controlling the position. Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cassidy wants to get up but he can't break Jenkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jenkins is adopting a defensive guard.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jenkins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cassidy on his heels. He'll look to pass Cassidy's guard now, I'm sure. Cassidy wants to stand and escape but Jenkins is having none of it. Jenkins wants to control from the top but Cassidy keeps moving. Jenkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jenkins prevents Cassidy from escaping the position. Cassidy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cassidy gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. BOOM! Jenkins connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jenkins wants to control the pace but Cassidy is squirming around nicely. Jenkins pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jenkins controlling the pace for now. Jenkins scoring with strikes but Cassidy is staying in there. Jenkins controlling the position easily from mount. Cassidy is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jenkins wants to control the pace but Cassidy is squirming around nicely. Cassidy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jenkins on the ground. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jenkins working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jenkins fails to take his opponent's back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jenkins wants to control the pace but Cassidy is squirming around nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ovaltine Jenkins dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Cassidy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jenkins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cassidy's head.

Cassidy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Cassidy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jenkins wants to control but Cassidy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cassidy has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Jenkins works to full guard. Jenkins wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cassidy preventing the sweep. Cassidy wants to get up but he can't break Jenkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ovaltine Jenkins has got the better of the ground game so far. Jenkins has Cassidy pulled in close to control his posture. Jenkins is continuing to stall. Jenkins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cassidy is one step ahead there.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cassidy wants to stand but Jenkins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cassidy won't allow Jenkins to sweep him here. Jenkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cassidy wanted to stand there but Jenkins had control of the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. An inside leg kick from Cassidy misses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins shoots in but no luck this time. Cassidy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jenkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jenkins tries to sprawl but Cassidy drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jenkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cassidy is working away from the top position though. Cassidy tries to stand and escape but Jenkins actually recovers to full guard. Jenkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cassidy wanted to stand there but Jenkins had control of the position. Jenkins looking for a sweep. Not yet Jenkins, not yet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cassidy wants to stand but Jenkins has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jenkins is looking to slow Cassidy down with leg kicks. Butch Cassidy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jenkins tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Butch Cassidy dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Cassidy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jenkins to the ground. Cassidy is now in Jenkins's guard. Cassidy postures up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jenkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jenkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cassidy defends well.
Cassidy stands and steps away. Jenkins gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cassidy fails with an attempt to clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cassidy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Cassidy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jenkins is doing well to control the position and prevent Cassidy from advancing to side control. Cassidy prevents Jenkins from improving his position. Jenkins manages to get to full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cassidy wants to get up but he can't break Jenkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Cassidy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jenkins throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jenkins throws a series of punches but Cassidy moves out of range. It looked like Cassidy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cassidy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jenkins can pounce on him.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cassidy. Jenkins can't do much from the bottom here. Jenkins is trying to get back to half guard. Jenkins is holding Cassidy down, trying to stall. Jenkins tries to bench press Cassidy off him but Cassidy keeps the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cassidy off and has taken his back! Jenkins throwing sloppy strikes. Jenkins trying to control. Jenkins is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The adventures of Jenkins the control monster continue. Boring. Well, with Jenkins on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Cassidy is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Butch Cassidy. I think Cassidy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
