Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noel Nova (ranked 3686 p4p, 4588 weight class) and Kudo Sambo (ranked 355 p4p, 403 weight class). The key to victory for Noel Nova has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Noel Nova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kudo Sambo!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurstr�m and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Sambo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
It seemed like Sambo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sambo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nova can't keep his opponent in guard - Sambo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nova wants to get back to full guard but Sambo has passed into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nova tries to buck Sambo off but Sambo is having none of it.
Sambo cracks Nova with a big elbow.
Sambo cracks Nova with a big right hand but Nova just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sambo cracks Nova with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sambo lands a big shot there that rocks Nova but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Nova is bucking up trying to escape but Sambo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Sambo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nova has his hands clasped together but Sambo breaks the hold and Nova is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sambo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kudo Sambo!
