The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsarukyan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kavanah to the ground. Tsarukyan is now in Kavanah's guard.
Kavanah utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tsarukyan wants to control from the top but Kavanah keeps moving.
Tsarukyan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kavanah can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tsarukyan lands a couple of elbows.
Tsarukyan throwing strikes from guard but Kavanah blocks nicely.

Kavanah escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tsarukyan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsarukyan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tsarukyan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kavanah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kavanah taking some punishment here, with Tsarukyan in his half guard.
Kavanah is looking for a sweep. Tsarukyan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tsarukyan lands with a punch from half guard.

Kavanah is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tsarukyan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kavanah is hurt! He's hurt bad - Tsarukyan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kavanah from any more punishment! Congratulations to Tsarukyan! Great finish!
