The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jackson digs a good body shot into Bholai's ribs.
Bholai looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from jackson.
jackson shoots in but no luck this time.
jackson wants to clinch.
Bholai misses with a takedown
and jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
jackson gets a takedown into half guard.
jackson wants to pass the guard but Bholai is defending well.
Bholai is positioning himself well to prevent jackson advancing to mount.
jackson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bholai is looking to stand up but jackson isn't so interested in that idea.
jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bholai looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
jackson shoots in for a takedown but Bholai shows good takedown defense.

jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bholai is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Bholai closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bholai lands in his opponent's guard.

Bholai decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bholai swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bholai has jackson pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Bholai misses with a takedown attempt
and jackson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Bholai pushes jackson off and gets back to his feet.

and Bholai counters with a shoot takedown. jackson fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bholai gets to his feet - jackson follows without any prompting.
Bholai closes the distance looking to clinch
and jackson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bholai!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bholai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with jackson, pushing him back against the cage.
Bholai is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Bholai tightens his grip and picks jackson up, before dumping him to the ground. jackson manages to land in guard.
sucre jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
jackson has his hands on Bholai's head, controlling the position.
Bholai wants to pass the guard but jackson is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
jackson wants to get back to his feet but Bholai is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to sucre jackson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
