Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm King (ranked 2415 p4p, 24423 weight class) and Vilmer Stridh (ranked 260 p4p, 451 weight class). King comes into the arena with YoungBoy Never Broke Again – White Teeth blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 28 - 1, fighting out of New York, Malcolm King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vilmer Stridh!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stridh.
Stridh stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
Stridh throws a fast counter high kick but King manages to duck under it in time.
Stridh darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Stridh blocks a head kick by King.
Stridh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stridh throws out a counter right but King avoids it with no problem.
Stridh scores with a head kick.
Stridh misses with the combination.
It looked like King wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Stridh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stridh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stridh clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage.
Stridh pushes King back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
King is rocked!
Stridh lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of King backwards.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stridh creates a bit of space for himself and rocks King with a big uppercut! King tries to clinch up but Stridh pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples King to the mat! King covers up and Stridh unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vilmer Stridh!
Vilmer Stridh took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
