Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shahzad Abdelrahman (ranked 2927 p4p, 4217 weight class) and Jack Lawson (ranked 305 p4p, 390 weight class). Abdelrahman comes to the cage accompanied by Blow The Whistle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Lawson!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdelrahman chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Abdelrahman lands with a straight right. Lawson didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Jack Lawson has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lawson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A nice leg kick from Abdelrahman, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lawson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Abdelrahman pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lawson has Abdelrahman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Abdelrahman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
