Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rory Lucas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rowan Duran!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran takes one on the button.
A right-left combo lands from Lucas.
It looks like Rowan Duran has been cut.
Lucas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Duran drops Lucas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lucas looks back up at him and smiles so Duran waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Rory Lucas has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duran steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lucas.
Rory Lucas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Duran.
A jab from Duran misses.
Lucas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Duran on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lucas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Duran's head.
Duran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lucas is rocked!
Duran throws out a loose jab but Lucas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lucas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Duran throws a big shot that misses.
Nice straight punches there by Lucas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lucas.
Lucas throws a series of punches but Duran moves out of range.
Duran now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Lucas scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Duran pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Duran takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sloppy strikes from Lucas. Those never looked like landing.
Lucas throws an overhand right that lands on Duran's shoulder, as Duran tries to avoid the shot.
Duran's corner calls for a 1-2. Duran obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oh Lucas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucas throws a shot from downtown. Duran moves away and avoids it.
Duran throws out a counter right but Lucas avoids it with no problem.
Duran uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lucas.
Lucas seems to have got his legs back now.
Duran throws an overhand right that lands on Lucas's shoulder, as Lucas tries to avoid the shot.
Lucas looks to throw the jab but Duran is out of range.
Duran falls off balance throwing a combination
and Duran takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lucas misses with an uppercut
and Duran counters with a big right hand! Oh Lucas is in trouble here! Duran follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rowan Duran!
