Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shyntlar Ilaleztice!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ilaleztice misses with a takedown
and Vieira counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Vieira is controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vieira has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ilaleztice is trying to get back to full guard.
Vieira looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ilaleztice with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ilaleztice tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Vieira controlling the pace.
Vieira seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ilaleztice for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vieira drops an elbow to the side of Ilaleztice's head.
Ilaleztice tries to get to full guard but Vieira has control of the leg.
Vieira is taking a breather. Ilaleztice says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Vieira escapes and gets back to his feet.
Ilaleztice throws a sloppy head kick and Vieira moves out of range easily.
Vieira appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Ilaleztice shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vieira as he jumps to the side.

Ilaleztice throws a quick inside leg kick.
Vieira dodges the punch combination from Ilaleztice.
As Ilaleztice tries to get set, Vieira tries to push him back and clinch up but Ilaleztice manages to avoid the attempt.
Ilaleztice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vieira swivels and escapes.
Charles Vieira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shyntlar Ilaleztice.

Ilaleztice shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vieira manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ilaleztice on his heels. He'll look to pass Ilaleztice's guard now, I'm sure.
Ilaleztice is wriggling around but Vieira manages to pass to half guard.
Vieira is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Vieira works his foot free and advances to mount.

Vieira moves into range and clinches up with Ilaleztice.
Vieira breaks from the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ilaleztice is defended easily by Vieira.
No luck for Ilaleztice with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ilaleztice shoots for a double leg takedown but Vieira sprawls well. He's pushed Ilaleztice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Vieira drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ilaleztice is looking to get back to his feet here but Vieira is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ilaleztice's back.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Vieira is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ilaleztice can do to turn this around?
Ilaleztice can't escape the position.
Vieira really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Ilaleztice.
Vieira continues to stall.

Vieira is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ilaleztice has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Vieira has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ilaleztice taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Vieira doesn't care though - he's delighted!
