Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Sandman (ranked 335 p4p, 565 weight class) and Takashi Asai (ranked 9 p4p, 17 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Mr Sandman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takashi Asai!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurstr�m and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sandman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sandman swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sandman moves away from the strike by Asai.
Asai swings for the body but Sandman moves out of range.
Takashi Asai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asai lands a body shot.
Asai misses with a looping left.
Sandman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sandman showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sandman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Asai is not content to let Sandman control the position.

Asai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sandman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sandman postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Asai badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sandman around the waist but Sandman pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sandman is the winner by TKO! Sandman jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Sandman!
Mr Sandman is the new super heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Mr Sandman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
