Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seamus Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kir Ippolit!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ippolit tries to clinch but Kane moves away
and Kane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Kir Ippolit has been cut.
Kane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A quick step to the side and Kane tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ippolit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kane throwing a counter right hand but Ippolit manages to avoid it.
Ippolit takes the fight into the clinch.
Ippolit prevents a body shot from Kane.
Kane lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kane struggles to land a body shot inside as Ippolit controls his hands.
Kane misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane swings wildly with an uppercut but Ippolit uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ippolit's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kane makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kane lands an uppercut.
Ippolit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kane avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane lands a nice uppercut.
A short left from Kane.
Ippolit pulls Kane into guard.
Kane decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ippolit, up you get!
Ippolit doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ippolit darts in trying to clinch
and Kane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ippolit has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kane lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ippolit backwards.
Kane lands with a short shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kane lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kane lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That has opened up Kir Ippolit's cut even more.
Kane scores with a nice hook to the head.
Ippolit lands a takedown into guard.
Ippolit gets to his feet - Kane follows without any prompting.
Ippolit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ippolit tries to clinch but Kane moves away
and Kane counters with a big right hand! Oh Ippolit is in trouble here! Kane follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
