Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Ito (ranked 1880 p4p, 1898 weight class) and Giga Chad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Ito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Giga Chad!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ito fails with the takedown.
Ito takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Kenji Ito has been cut.
Chad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ito, pushing him back against the cage.
Chad stops a takedown attempt from Ito.
Chad lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ito wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenji Ito. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ito's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ito is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chad pulls him back up using the underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chad creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ito is trying to drag Chad to the mat but Chad just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ito drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chad pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chad smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chad misses with a hook. Ito ducked under it nicely.
Kenji Ito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chad looks to throw the jab but Ito is out of range.
Chad jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chad as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chad waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ito.
Ito misses with a takedown
and Chad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chad pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ito attempts a counter takedown but Chad avoids it well and moves away.
No luck for Ito with that takedown attempt.
Ito tries for a takedown but Chad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chad throws the left hand but Ito avoids the punch easily.
Ito displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chad throws out the jab.
Chad thuds his right hand into Ito's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Chad cracks Ito with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chad has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ito to stand back up!
Ito is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Chad.
Oh Ito is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chad drives through and clinches with Ito against the cage.
Ito blocks the elbow strike.
Ito seems to have got his legs back now.
Ito tries to score a body lock takedown but Chad shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Chad has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ito blocks an uppercut.
Ito takes a shot to the head.
Chad has Ito pressed against the cage. Ito drops his hands and Chad takes advantage by unloading with a massive hook that sends Ito tumbling to the canvas! Chad rains down with more punches but Ito was already out! That's a highlight reel knockout for Chad!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giga Chad!
Our winner, Giga Chad, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
