Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rusi Vladamir (ranked 4429 p4p, 24707 weight class) and Jon Soialo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soialo has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusi Vladamir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Soialo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladamir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vladamir shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Soialo as he avoids it easily.
Vladamir shoots in and gets a takedown into Soialo's guard.
Soialo manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Vladamir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Soialo has one foot on Vladamir's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Soialo works over Vladamir's head and body with a nice combination.
Vladamir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vladamir tries to clinch there but Soialo circles away.
Rusi Vladamir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vladamir feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vladamir looking to sit in guard and control but Soialo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Vladamir has a closed guard, preventing Soialo from standing up.
Soialo looks winded!

Soialo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Vladamir pushes a forearm under Soialo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Soialo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After the fight, Rusi Vladamir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
