Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Braedon Butler (ranked 3975 p4p, 3881 weight class) and The Diddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Diddler!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler shoots in and bounces Diddler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Butler forces his way into half guard.
Diddler wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Butler is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Butler takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diddler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diddler can do anything to dispel that myth.
Diddler is trying to maintain the position but Butler is very close to passing his half guard.
Diddler pushes Butler off looking to stand but Butler dives back in and keeps control.

Butler is nestled in close to Diddler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diddler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Butler is working away from the top position though.
Butler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Diddler defends it well.
Butler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Butler moves into full mount! Diddler won't be happy about that!

Diddler has left one of his arms exposed and Butler doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Diddler screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
