Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Banton (ranked 1866 p4p, 3502 weight class) and Kai Asakura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Banton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Asakura!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asakura misses with a lunging right hand
and Banton counters with a three punch combo that has Asakura backing up. Asakura nods at Banton to acknowledge the strikes.
Asakura looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Banton lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Asakura is rocked!
Banton lands with a big left! Asakura is wobbled badly! Banton comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Asakura to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jimmy Banton!
After the fight, Jimmy Banton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
