Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Osama Bin-Semen (ranked 610 p4p, 655 weight class) and Michele Rene Gaspard (ranked 54 p4p, 61 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Michele Rene Gaspard!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspard connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bin-Semen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gaspard! But no joy.
Gaspard wants to clinch but Bin-Semen slips to the side
and Bin-Semen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bin-Semen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gaspard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gaspard content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bin-Semen has locked up a guillotine! Bin-Semen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gaspard is holding on here and Bin-Semen must be using up a lot of energy. Gaspard has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bin-Semen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
