Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominik Dlask!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Darius!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dlask lands a lovely overhand right.
Dlask throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Darius lands a left and a right that send Dlask crashing to the mat, dazed. Darius thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Darius keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dlask.
Dlask jabs at Darius's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Darius wants to land a leg kick but Dlask is out of range.
Dlask is looking to counter punch.
Dlask comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A low kick lands for Darius.
Dlask throws a hook but Darius blocks it.
Dlask ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Darius moves away.
Darius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dlask moves in looking to clinch but Darius pushes him off.
Darius moves out of range as Dlask strikes.
Darius misses with a straight right.
Darius circles away from the clinch attempt.
Darius scores with a hook.
Dlask swings widly with a right hand
and Darius counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dlask fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dlask keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Darius darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dlask is rocked!
Darius avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It seemed like Darius was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Oh Dlask is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dominik Dlask seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dlask gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Darius gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benny Darius!
Benny Darius decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
