Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Luc Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Klarenet!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klarenet throws a right and a left that Harrison avoids nicely.
Harrison went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Harrison scores with a nice right hand.
Harrison misses with a double jab.
Klarenet misses with a lunging right hand
and Harrison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Klarenet thuds a left hand into Harrison's body.
Klarenet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harrison tries to clinch but Klarenet is having none of it.
Klarenet throws a nice looking combination but Harrison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Harrison wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Harrison throws a hook to the side of Klarenet's head but Klarenet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Klarenet throws a right hand that misses
and Harrison counters with a nice uppercut.
Harrison clinches.
Klarenet tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Klarenet is trying to break the clinch but Harrison has him pressed against the cage.
Klarenet wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Harrison has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Klarenet uses from the top position.

Harrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Harrison has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Klarenet doesn't defend quickly enough and Harrison has managed to lock this one up! Can Klarenet escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Harrison on a fantastic submission victory.
