Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rewa Tate (ranked 3244 p4p, 3463 weight class) and Elisha Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tate is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Rewa Tate looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elisha Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Watson and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hopkins. No joy for Tate on that attempt.
Tate is breathing heavily.
Hopkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tate circles away quickly and effectively.
Elisha Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tate's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopkins postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Tate badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hopkins around the waist but Hopkins pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hopkins is the winner by TKO! Hopkins jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
