Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Salazar (ranked 2344 p4p, 25456 weight class) and Vyacheslav Stroganov (ranked 190 p4p, 357 weight class). Vyacheslav Stroganov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vyacheslav Stroganov!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroganov tries to clinch there but Salazar circles away.
Salazar with a hook.
Salazar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stroganov closes the distance and clinches up with Salazar, looking for a takedown. Stroganov pushes Salazar against the cage but Salazar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stroganov gets the takedown into side control.
Salazar wants to get back to his feet.
Salazar is looking to regain half guard here but Stroganov keeps moving and retains side control.
Stroganov is chipping away with strikes.
Stroganov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Salazar tries to escape but Stroganov is in control.
Stroganov is chipping away with strikes.
Stroganov has knee on belly and moves into mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stroganov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Salazar can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stroganov cracks Salazar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Salazar is rocked!
Salazar squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
BOOM! Stroganov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Salazar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stroganov lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Salazar! Stroganov sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Salazar and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Vyacheslav Stroganov!
